The Diving Emergency Management Provider program allows DAN Instructors to offer an integrated program to train divers to learn the information and skills in DAN Training Programs, at a significant savings of time, but without sacrificing any skills.

Program Objective:

Train divers to respond to dive emergencies in a single comprehensive package. It is an all-inclusive method of presenting and promoting DAN Training Programs.

How long will it take?

8 hours (6 hours without Advanced Oxygen Provider)

What do I need to start?

  • Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries
  • First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries
  • Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for Scuba Diving
  • DAN Advanced Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries ( Preferred additional credential)

Note to Instructor Trainers: There is no additional training or certification required for the Diving Emergency Management Provider Program. Any Instructor certified to offer these DAN Training Programs can offer this program.
